Zon Staff Management provides managers with a secure and comprehensive interface to access and manage their staff members through the Point of Sale (POS) system. Here’s how the process and features work:
Manager Access via POS Device:
Managers must first access a POS device and log in with their credentials.
On the main dashboard, a dedicated "Manager View" tile is visible. This tile is exclusively accessible to users with manager permissions.
To proceed, the manager must enter their unique PIN, ensuring only authorized personnel can access sensitive staff data.
Manager Dashboard and Staff List:
After authentication, the manager is presented with a dashboard displaying a list of all staff members under their supervision.
The manager can select any staff member from this list to view detailed information and manage their records.
Staff Profile Details Available to Managers:
Managers can view and manage the following staff details based on the selected date range. To proceed, choose the desired date range to access the corresponding information:
Personal Information: Name, status (e.g., Active), and staff type (e.g., non-Shopify staff).
Contact Information: Email address and phone number, if provided.
Work Information: Position, hourly pay rate, and assigned work locations.
Performance Overview: Total hours worked during a selected period, earnings (including unpaid amounts), and commission details.
Recent Activity: Attendance records showing present, absent, or in-progress statuses for recent days.
Upcoming Shifts: Scheduled shifts with dates, times, and assigned locations.
Clock In/Out Authority: Managers have the ability to clock in or out staff members directly from this interface, providing flexibility in attendance management.
This setup ensures that managers have all the necessary tools and authority to effectively oversee their teams, handle attendance, and manage payroll directly from the POS system, streamlining staff management processes in retail environments.
